Jacob's Pillow and Lee: A Shared Story
Closing Reception & Community Conversation
The Lee Chamber of Commerce invites you to a closing reception for the exhibit “Jacob's Pillow and Lee”, with a featured focus on “Marketing, Tourism and Business Relations”, and an exploration of how a world-renowned dance festival shapes a small New England town.
Join exhibit curator Josh Bloom for a look at the decades-long relationship between Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival and the Town of Lee—through the lens of tourism, business, and community connection.
We’ll also hear from three Lee residents whose lives and careers were shaped by Jacob’s Pillow:
• Alex Heddinger, Lee Chamber of Commerce Executive Director and former Jacob’s Pillow intern and staff member
• Vinny Vigilante, Director of Facilities, Safety & Security at Jacob’s Pillow and Lee Chamber Board Member
• Bill Yehle, former General Manager and Production Manager at Jacob’s Pillow
From internships to leadership roles, their stories reflect a simple idea: many in our community are here because of Jacob’s Pillow—and its impact continues to shape Lee today.
